#MorningPrayer
We mourn, Lord,
the violence and hatred
which can kill even
the author of life;
we lament that
such sinfulness
is rampant
in our world today.
Inspire us, we pray,
to seek peace not division,
harmony not discord,
healing not hurt.
Bring us life;
for today,
we wait.
