Anoint us, Lord,
with your Spirit,
that as you dwell in us,
so we may live for you.
Give us opportunity
and courage
both to speak
of your love
and to show it;
to the world,
to the people we meet,
to the situations
and circumstances
we encounter,
this and every day.
