Elizabeth’s child
leapt for joy
in her womb, Lord,
as he encountered
love incarnate.
Mary sang her song
of joy and hope
for all the world.
Inspire joy and hope
in us today,
that we may be
a Magnificat people,
lifting the lowly,
filling the empty,
one family in you.
