Open our hearts, Lord,
to welcome you
as king of our lives;
fill us with joy
as we welcome you
day by day
to call us, guide us,
lead us, challenge us.
Keep us true to you,
that we may not fall away
when you do not follow our will,
but ask us rather to follow yours.
