In an age, Lord,
when image is king,
keep our focus
on the reality
beneath the surface.
Help us look
not to outward
appearance,
but to inward truth.
Infuse our minds
and hearts
with your love,
that we may see
as you see,
and delight
in responding
generously
to you.
