Open our hearts, Lord,
to receive afresh
the good news
of your kingdom;
of new life,
reconciliation, peace,
and your love for us.
May we receive it,
and may we share it;
in our words
and in our deeds,
in our attitudes
and in our actions,
that your light
may shine.
