Keep us ever watchful
and wakeful, Lord;
let the lamp of your love
shine brightly in our hearts,
and from our lives,
that the new life
of your kingdom
may be seen in us,
and through us.
Forgive and heal us
when we obscure your light;
renew your love and life in us.
