Hold our attention, Lord;
strengthen the stamina
of our souls,
that we may not be
fickle in our faith,
or distracted
from our discipleship
by the cares of life,
not grow lukewarm
in our loving
through laziness.
Keep us ever ready
to encounter you,
for you are near.
