Take from our minds and hearts, Lord,
the veil of misunderstanding,
the cloak of prejudice,
the shutters of self-righteousness.
Open us up to the guidance of your Spirit,
to the perspective of your kingdom,
to seeing people and issues
through the lens of your love.
