Our discipleship is easier, Lord,
when you ask of us easy things,
like seeking the wellbeing
of those who seek ours;
but you also ask of us hard things,
for you ask us to seek
the wellbeing of all,
to love even our enemies.
Expand our capacity
to love as you love.
