Lord, keep our focus
on your call and your kingdom;
keep us from letting
our own cleverness
obscure your wisdom,
from letting our own
preferences and prejudices
obscure your promises
or your prophets.
Keep us ever
open to your will,
drawn by your hope,
led by love.
