Lord, as we celebrate
our forbears in faith,
and today remember
Abbesses of old,
give us we pray
the spirit of wisdom,
gentleness and grace
which guided them
in their guiding of others.
May we nurture and care
for each other,
as we strive
to live your love
for all.
