Lord,
you call us to be salt;
not to be hoarded
for our own benefit,
but spread abroad
to be the savour of life
in love, peace and justice.
You call us to be light;
not to be hidden,
but to illuminate the world
with the light of your kingdom,
drawing hearts to you.
